It started with an unusual sound at the window. A normally quiet house cat suddenly began meowing loudly, pacing and calling attention to something outside. Reunited with his sister, affectionately named Waffles, Lupan took longer to relax. Watching his sister trust humans helped him slowly come around over the next few months.
By the holidays, Waffles was officially adopted into a forever home, delighting the family’s children. Eventually, both kittens settled in, often cuddled beneath the same window where the story began.
